Confirmation Hearing

If You Are Representing the Borrower

Your ability to establish that your client’s home was not sold at fair market value could mean thousands, hundreds or millions of dollars to your client. If your client does not believe their home was sold at fair market value the first step would be to conduct an appraisal to verify this.

As a result of my experience in this area my reports are well documented, supported and conducted using accepted appraisal standards. My reports include much more content and detail than would be normal for an appraisal used in the typical mortgage lending process. My appraisals and reports are intended to hold up to the highest level of scrutiny and attack. You can have complete confidence that the appraisal and report will not be undermined in court.

When the report is submitted to you I am available to review the report with you and discuss any relevant details so you feel comfortable in its use. I will point out any number of ways the report may be challenged how the challenges would be defended so you are comfortable with its use.

If we appear in court I will be ready and able to defend my opinion. My knowledge of the Georgia Real Estate Appraiser Laws and the Uniform Standards of Professional Practice (USPAP) and my credentials assure this!

I have been certified as an Appraiser Expert Witness in the Superior Court of 7 Counties in Georgia: Dekalb, Cobb, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall and Jackson.   You should be comfortable in my ability to testify and easily withstand any cross examination.

My credentials include being 1 of approximately 17 appraisers who has been certified by the appraisal Foundation as an Appraiser Qualifications Board USPAP instructor. The Appraisal Foundation (Authorized by Congress as the Source of Appraisal Standards and Appraiser Qualifications) has certified me to teach the national Uniform Standards of Professional Appraiser Practice (USPAP) courses. (click here to learn more about USPAP)

I am licensed by the state of Georgia as a State Licensed Appraiser Instructor and am the School Director of the Georgia Appraiser School, LLC. I have authored approximately 20 appraiser courses approved by the state for licensing and continuing education for appraisers.
