My qualifications include:

I am 1 of approximately 7 appraisers in the state of GA who is an AQB Certified USPAP Instructor.  The Appraisal Foundation (Authorized by Congress as the Source of Appraisal Standards and Appraiser Qualifications) has certified me to teach the national Uniform Standards of Professional Appraiser Practice (USPAP) courses.  (click here to learn more about USPAP)

I am licensed by the state of Georgia as a State Licensed Appraiser Instructor and am the School Director of the Georgia Appraiser School, LLC.  I have authored approximately 30 appraiser courses approved by several states for licensing and continuing education for appraisers.  I also teach pre-license, license and continuing education courses.  If you choose another appraiser chances are they have taken classes from me!

I have been certified as an Appraiser Expert Witness in the Superior Courts of 7 Counties in Georgia: Dekalb, Cobb, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall and Jackson.

I am a Certified Hearing Officer for the State of Georgia. I am charged with adjudicating tax appeals.  I perform all powers, duties and authority of a county or regional board of equalization, and determine the fair market value of real property based on testimony and evidence presented during the hearing.  Less than 30 of approximately 4,000 appraisers licensed in GA have attained the designation of Certified Hearing Officer.

I have been approved by FHA / HUD and am on the FHA Appraiser roster.  Only appraisers who are on the FHA Appraiser roster can complete appraisals for FHA mortgages.  I am also licensed by the state of GA as a Certified Residential Appraiser.  This is the highest level of Residential appraiser license one can obtain. (click here for more information on qualifications, experience and education)
